Access

You have the option to provide access to your Google Contacts or Facebook Friends list. If you choose to grant this access, SPORTZAG will be able to access the list for the purpose of allowing you to connect with your contacts or friends on our platform.

Your public profile data obtained during Google or Facebook Sign-In is used solely for identifying you within our system. This allows us to create a personalized experience tailored to you. If you grant access to your Google Contacts or Facebook Friends list, the data is used to enable social interactions helping you find and connect with contacts or friends who are also using the SPORTZAG platform. Your selected contacts will receive an invitation from SPORTZAG, and no other use of your contacts information will be made.

Storage

Data retrieved from your Google Contacts or Facebook Friends list is not stored on our servers at any point. During the Firebase authentication process tokens are stored in a secure, encrypted manner on our servers. These tokens are essential for maintaining your secure authenticated session. We do not store any other information from your Google or Facebook accounts.

Sharing

We do not share your Google or Facebook data with any third parties. The access to your public profile data, Google Contacts, and Facebook Friends list is solely for the purposes to enhance your experience on our platform and is not used for any other purposes as mentioned above.

Disconnecting Your Google and/or Facebook Account

If you have connected your Google or Facebook account to SPORTZAG and want to disconnect it, you can do so at any time. Disconnecting your account will remove all data associated with your Google or Facebook profile from SPORTZAG.

• Sign in to your SPORTZAG account.
• Go to the MY PROFILE > MANAGE ACCOUNTS area of your account.
• Click the “DISCONNECT” button.
• Upon disconnecting, all data associated with your Google or Facebook account will be removed from SPORTZAG’s systems.

Data Deletion Requests

To delete your account and the personal data we have collected, you can do so by following these steps:

Primary Method: Account Deletion via Profile

• Login to Your Account: Sign in to your Sportzag account.
• Profile and Settings: Go to the MENU > PROFILE AND SETTINGS section of your account.
• Delete Account: Click the DELETE ACCOUNT link near the bottom of the page, and CONFIRM. All your data will be deleted immediately. This process cannot be undone.

Alternative Method: Contact Us via Email

• Send an Email: If you are unable to delete your account through the profile section, you can send an email to our Data Protection Officer at privacy@sportzag.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
• Verification: We will verify your identity to ensure that you are the person entitled to make the request.
• Processing: Once your identity is verified, we will process your request and delete your data within 30 days. We will also confirm the deletion via email.
• Exceptions: Please note that certain data may be retained if required by law or if necessary for legitimate business purposes.
